City Aluminium provides a range of glazing solutions for aluminium windows and doors, designed to meet safety, energy efficiency, acoustic, privacy, and aesthetic requirements. From impact-resistant safety glass to high-performance double glazing, each option delivers reliable performance without compromising design.

Toughened (tempered) glass is heat-treated and rapidly cooled to create high internal strength, making it four to five times stronger than standard float glass. It is ideal for safety-critical applications such as frameless doors and structurally loaded areas. If broken, it shatters into small fragments to reduce injury risk.

Heat-strengthened glass is cooled more gradually, making it approximately twice as strong as standard float glass and more resistant to thermal breakage. While not classified as safety glass, it can be laminated to improve safety and is often used as an alternative to toughened glass where added structural integrity is required.

Low-emissivity (Low-E) glass features a transparent coating that reflects radiant heat while allowing natural light to pass through. It helps retain warmth in winter, reduce heat gain in summer, and improve overall thermal efficiency.

Additional options include tinting for glare and privacy control, laminating for improved safety and acoustic performance, and double glazing, which uses two panes separated by a sealed cavity to enhance insulation, reduce condensation, and improve noise reduction.

Local manufacture means that our products are tailored to suit our local environment and building requirements. In addition it means that we can efficiently make aluminium windows and doors in-house within short time frames.

Supply

City Aluminium’s service commitment extends through to supply and delivery of our aluminium windows and doors, ready for installation.

We can deliver direct to the job site using our own trucks and drivers to ensure that they arrive on schedule and with care.

Builders have the option of supply only whereby we will manufacture and deliver the windows and doors to the builder who can organise installation by others.

Install

We provide clean, prompt and professional installation of your Aluminium windows and doors to ensure that your space is secure and protected from the elements.

City Aluminium’s installation service is not restricted to new builds, it also includes retrofitted windows and doors, replacement windows and doors for those that have been damaged.

Once the installation is complete, we leave your site clean and provide free removal of waste material if required.
